Za nami dwa pierwsze spotkania artystów polskich i islandzkich Projektu "Wczoraj i dziś/I gaer og i dag Polish-Icelandic Musical Dialogue” potwierdzające aktualność tych słów. Partnerska współpraca szczecińskiej Fundacji Akademia Muzyki Dawnej z Kvæðamannafélagið Iðunn oraz Bárą Grímsdóttir i Chrisem Fosterem tworzącymi zespół Funi, była pierwszym krokiem do przybliżenia i zrozumienia kultury tak odległych krajów.  Na bogaty program III sesji Projektu w dniach 2-6 maja 2023, poświęcony muzyce instrumentalnej - Ars Instrumentalis, złożą się wizyty studyjne w szkołach muzycznych Reykjaviku oraz   Þjóðminjasafn Íslands, warsztaty instrumentalne a także cykl koncertów. Będzie to zarazem spotkanie dwóch zespołów zajmujących się wykonawstwem historycznym - islandzkim Barokkbandið Brák oraz polskim Consortium Sedinum. Finał Projektu to koncert  pn. Þræðir // Motywy- Polish and Nordic Influences in Baroque music zaplanowany w dniu 6 maja 2023 o godzinie 18:00 w kościele Fríkirkjunni w Reykjavíku. Zespoły wspólnie zaprezentują kompozycje instrumentalne XVII i XVIII wiecznych twórców polskich i skandynawskich na tle arcydzieł epoki baroku.

Projekt dofinansowano ze środków Ministerstwa Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego w ramach Mechanizmu Finansowego Europejskiego Obszaru Gospodarczego (MF EOG), Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway grants pod hasłem: „Wspólnie działamy na rzecz Europy zielonej, konkurencyjnej i sprzyjającej integracji społecznej”.

We have concluded first two meetings between Polish and Icelandic artists as part of the project Wczoraj i dziś / Í gær og í dag - Polish Icelandic Musical Dialogue, which confirmed the consistency and truth of the quotation above. The partnership between the Academy of Ancient Music Foundation in Szczecin with Kvæðamannafélagið Iðunn and the duo Funi (Bára Grímsdóttir and Chris Foster) in Reykjavík, is the first step to deepen our mutual understanding of the cultures of our two countries.

Ars Instrumentalis, the third meeting of Wczoraj i dziś / Í gær og í dag, will be devoted to instrumental music. It will take place in Iceland from the 2nd - 6th of May 2023. At the heart of the visit will be a series of daily rehearsals with members of the Icelandic Barokkbandið Brák and the Polish Consortium Sedinum, culminating in a concert titled Þræðir / Motywy - Polish and Nordic Influences in Baroque music. The two ensembles specialize in performances where the music is performed on original baroque instruments in the spirit of the Baroque era, in terms of interpretation and style. The concert the Fríkirkjan Church in Reykjavík on 6th May, will feature works from the Baroque era that have connections to Poland or the Nordic countries.

The visit will also include a concert and student workshop at Tónlistarskóli Garðabær, organised in cooperation with the Suzukisamband Íslands (Suzuki Association of Iceland), a visit to Þjóðminjasafn Íslands (National Museum of Iceland) to examine old Icelandic musical instruments, and participation in the annual concert of the choir Vaskór, with whom members of Szczecin Vocal Project performed in the first meeting in Reykjavík in November 2022.
Wczoraj i dziś / Í gær og í dag – Polish Icelandic Musical Dialogue is funded by the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage as part of the Culture programme of the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway grants scheme, under the slogan: "We work together for a green, competitive and socially inclusive Europe."
